Well, it was an all nighter for Dennis (Daddy Mac), Colton and I but we got the trailer packed and made the four hour trek to the Saltwater Fishing Expo in Somerset, NJ. We’ll be setting up here for the next six hours or so, and are psyched for the doors to open tomorrow to kick off the 3 day show. Daddy Mac Lures is in booth 704 for anyone heading to the Saltwater Expo this weekend!!

We will also have a presence at the big sale at Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, Maine this weekend. Pro Staffer Tim Moore will be representing Daddy Mac Lures on Friday and Sunday, and Field Staffer Jim “Squidman” Young will be representing us on Saturday. Be sure to stop by and say hello, and check out our tank and huge product display if you’re planning to attend the sale. The first 100 people through the North Entrance will get gift cards from KTP!

Daddy Mac Lures is proud to announce our newest team member, Field Staffer James “Squidman” Young!

Squidman has been fishing the Cape Cod Canal since childhood and has long been a loyal supporter and friend of Daddy Mac Lures.  His natural talent and expertise on the pond and in the ocean allow him to provide keen insight and feedback on our lures.  In addition, he has been known to do some amazing lure mods.

Time and time again, after field testing products for us, and working with us behind the scenes, we have found Squidman’s feedback to be invaluable and on point.  Additionally, he has taken some amazing pictures that show in detail the beauty and quality of Daddy Mac Lures, and he continues to promote our products through social media, word of mouth, and through continued success stories and photos of some amazing catches using Daddy Mac Lures.  For these reasons, we felt it was about time that Squidman officially joined the Daddy Mac Team!

Show hours are Thursday March 5,  2-9, Friday March 6,  1-9, Saturday, March 7, 9:30 – 7, Sunday, March 8, 9:30 – 5. Lots of free giveaways, and tickets can be purchased online as well as at the door.

Packing up and hitting the road soon. What a great weekend at the New England Saltwater Fishing Expo presented by the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association!  Thanks again to everyone for a great three days! No rest for the weary…as soon as we get home, we’ll be packaging and preparing to leave for Suffern, NY on Wednesday for the World Fishing & Outdoor Expo March Thursday March 5 -Sunday, March 8!

We are pumped that we will be leaving at the crack of dawn to head to the New England Saltwater Fishing Show presented by Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association (RISAA).  This is the largest saltwater fishing show in the Northeast!  Show is held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI.

Show times are as follows:

Friday, Feb. 27 –  12p-8p

Saturday, Feb 28 – 9a – 7p

Sunday, Mar 1 – 10a – 5p

Stop by our booth and say hello this weekend, January 10th and 11th at the Rockingham Fishing and Hunting Expo in Salem NH (Exit 1).  Show hours are 10am-7pm on Saturday and 10am – 5pm on Sunday.  Free parking and valet parking available.  $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 15.   Ages five and under are free.  This is currently the longest and continually operating sporting expo in New Hampshire!

I’ll be working the Daddy Mac booth along with my father-in-law and partner Dennis “Daddy Mac”, my son Colton and his buddy Jonathan. Our tanks will be up and running and swimming some great lures.  We hope to see you there!  Should be a great show!
